Now everything is online, and sometimes it feels like clients are even LESS ready than usual to engage in play. Or maybe that’s us. We are experiencing disruptions in our NFAE cycle over Zoom. In this workshop we will present some very low-energy case examples of playful interventions meant to infuse garden-variety verbal Zoom therapy with a much-needed dash of nonrepeating elements to help move towards play (or at least playfulness).

We will present some scenarios, spend a few minutes describing a pseudo-theory we’ve created based on those examples and some stuff from DvT literature, and then have attendees try out the techniques on each other.  Very chill.

Adam Reynolds, PhD, MFA, LCSW, RDT/BCT is a soft, chewy, non-iced sugar cookie that approaches an absolute lack of flavor the more of them you eat.

Tami Gatta, MA, LCAT, RDT is a very intense Louisiana Crunch Cake, but not the one you’re thinking of.  The Entenmann's one.

Together they are drama therapists in NYC who purport to run the DvT-NYC training program.
